Jobs for Ukraine at the Semantic Web Company

In light of the ongoing war against Ukraine, Semantic Web Company (SWC) has actively sought out a way to support the Ukrainian population by directly appealing to refugees searching for jobs.

According to the site, which was made in response to the war, “The platform offers displaced Ukrainians the opportunity to search for and find vacancies/potential jobs in Austria. In return, the companies that register themselves on this platform can offer their vacancies here and get in direct contact with potential job seekers.”

The platform, aptly named “Jobs for Ukraine” is open to all industries and has over 900 employers already taking part in the initiative. Applicants can choose from jobs in local transport, tech, nannying, retail, etc. The website also lists helpful information about job seekers in regards to retrieving residency permits, employment contracts, social security, and more.

SWC has featured three job openings including:

  • Software Quality Engineer
  • UI/UX Designer
  • Systems Operations Engineer

The positions are all full-time and would serve the product development department of the company. SWC is built on an international community with more than 65% of the company having different nationalities. Ukrainians who are forced to escape their home country and navigate a different life in Austria are most welcome to join SWC’s Vienna office. SWC is dedicated to ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for any Ukrainian applicants who wish to join the team.
