Enterprise Software Sales Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for an Enterprise Software Sales Engineer (m/f/d) to join our passionate team in Vienna, Austria. At The Semantic Web Company (SWC), you’ll work with great people with diverse backgrounds and talents.

About the Role

You will manage the sales process from prospecting to closing and continually improve the process, including identifying new up-sell opportunities. In this role, you will work closely with our data and knowledge engineers.

You will qualify and follow up on incoming leads, conduct product demos for prospects and customers, develop presentations, and work with our marketing team to continually improve sales collateral. You will work with our Partner Success team to further develop networks and nurture relationships to develop new strategic opportunities.

Your Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver presentations (online, in-person)
  • Present the company and product
  • Working with data and knowledge engineers to translate customer needs into a commercial offer
  • Work through proposal submissions
  • Maintain the customer contact matrix and proactively manage it for ongoing needs
  • Maintain the recurring revenue stream on an ongoing basis

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Work experience in a customer facing role
  • Strong communication skills, ability to listen
  • Accuracy, tenacity, ownership of challenges, trust and integrity
  • Interest in Artificial Intelligence solutions
  • Passion for business software solutions
  • Master’s degree or equivalent (computer science, economics, linguistics)
  • Excellent knowledge of German and English
  • Ability to travel (Europe and overseas)

Other qualifications and experiences are an asset:

  • Command of CRM systems (for example: Sugar, Hubspot)
  • Excellent command of G-suite (or MS Excel: calculations, reports in spreadsheets, tailoring offers from templates, etc.)
  • Additional language skills (Spanish, French, Chinese), native German

The minimum gross salary offered is EUR 63,000 p.a. – more is possible depending on education, skills and work experience.
