About the Role

We leverage cutting-edge AI technologies to revolutionize corporate ESG strategy  and reporting. As an ESG Data and Knowledge Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of sustainable business practices. If you’re passionate about data integration, ETL, ML, text mining, RAG and graph technologies and eager to make a significant impact, we’d love to hear from you!

Your Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance our ESG company and documents database using graph technologies and text mining
  • Optimize ETL data pipelines for integrating various ESG data sources into our database
  • Develop our Graph RAG architecture and work on end-to-end RAG solutions for our SaaS-based ESG business solution and custom projects
  • Co-develop the ESG knowledge model and use it in combination with statistical methods and AI to develop ESG business solution functionalities
  • Implement and optimize algorithms for ESG indicators and metrics calculations
  • Collaborate with our application development team to implement our SaaS-based ESG business solution
  • Work closely with the product management team to align our ESG product with market and customer needs
  • Collaborate within our company to drive the development of future AI strategies

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Proven expertise in LLM-based solutions (e.g. RAG systems) design using established frameworks (e.g. Langchain)
  • Experience with NLP libraries (e.g. SpaCy, NLTK)
  • Experience with data orchestrator platforms (Apache Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, etc.)
  • Experience with ontology management tools (PoolParty Semantic Suite, Protege, etc.)
  • Knowledge of graph databases (GraphDB, Neo4j, etc.) and SPARQL
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Basic knowledge of API development
  • Experience in software product management and product-based consulting
  • Knowledge of process management and product management frameworks
  • Familiarity with ESG standards and sustainability reporting
  • Understanding of go-to-market processes in the enterprise software industry

The minimum gross salary offered (full-time-equivalent) is EUR 64.000 p.a. – an overpayment is possible, depending on education, skills, and work experience.
